Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT ARE WE EATING?

Check out the Food and Drink page for all the details!

WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH DRINKS?

The Food and Drink page covers everything you need to know about alcoholic and non-alcoholic offerings.

Most important: make sure to bring your own plastic mug or cup. Or multiple!

what time can i show up?

Please try to arrive between 3-11pm on Friday, 10/10.

If you’re arriving between 11:00 pm and 2:00 am, we’ll have someone on-call. Head to the Pavilion, where we’ll have a QR code with instructions for who to contact. If you absolutely cannot arrive before 2:00 am, you must coordinate with the Wilderness crew before Friday. Email us at Camp.WilderMess@gmail.com.

when do i have to leave?

We’ve arranged a late checkout to maximize pool, sun & fun time (YES!) All guests will need to be off property by 4pm.

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE THERE?

Great question! Check out the Main Events and Venue Activities pages.

will i be able to camp next to my car?

There are limited car camping spots for those that require their physical car to camp.

For the rest of you, you’ll be able to off load gear near your camping spot and then will need to park in the lot.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PACK?

The What Should I Bring page covers everything, including items specific to individuals staying in the Lodge, cabins, houses or tenting.

THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT TO READ.

can i take a shower?

You bet your cute butt you can! Deloro Valley has plenty of very nice showers for our entire group. There are many showers in the Lodge. The upper-camp cabins have two remodeled bathhouses with multiple showers each. Each shower has hot water!

If you are camping, you are welcome to use the showers in the Lodge or near the Cabins (though the former are much closer).

will ice be available? what about water?

Potable water is available throughout the property.
We’ll have ice available whenever we have the bar set up; you’re welcome to store beverages there.

Can we bring floaties for the pool?

Yes! Floaties are welcome and we will have pumps available.

is alcohol allowed? how about cannabis?

Yes and Yes (for personal consumption only).
While we’ll have the bar open from 8pm to 2am each night, and 12-5 on Saturday, we encourage you to bring whatever you like to drink.

There are absolutely no alcohol or cannabis sales permitted at all under any circumstances. Individuals must be 21 years of age to be in possession of alcohol or cannabis in California.

Two important rules: (1) No glass (of any kind whatsoever) allowed on site and (2) smoking (including vapes) can only happen in designated smoking areas throughout the venue (these are critical venue rules)

i forgot something important! CAn i buy it somewhere?

Not on site, unfortunately! The closest Safeway/CVS is about 15 minutes away in Sonora…or ask a fellow camper!

is there cell service? what about wifi?

Cell service is not great in these great outdoors! There is WIFI at the main lodge but don’t expect it to be fast. Making a call or sending texts likely won’t be a problem, but I wouldn’t schedule any big meetings over the weekend.

can i bring my pet(s)?

Sorry friends, this event is humans only!

i have another question!

We’d love to hear from you! Please email us at: camp.wildermess@gmail.com
