Consent is voluntary
Consent must be given freely, without pressure, manipulation, or coercion. Anyone can say no at any time—even if they said yes before.Consent is specific
Saying yes to one thing does not mean yes to everything. Every new act requires new consent.Consent is ongoing
Anyone can change their mind. If they do, you must stop immediately.Consent requires clear communication

Someone who is intoxicated, unconscious, or otherwise incapacitated cannot give consent.Respect boundaries
Stop immediately if someone expresses discomfort or asks you to stop—verbally or nonverbally. No assumptions
Never assume what someone wants based on past behavior, appearance, or anything else. Ask.Responsibility is shared
If you’re engaging with someone sexually or intimately at WilderMess, it’s your responsibility to ensure there is enthusiastic, mutual understanding and consent.
